Who we are (and why we bother)

The ad tech market runs on a cycle that benefits everyone except the buyer. Vendors pour budgets into polished landing pages and sponsored comparisons, while marketing teams are left sorting genuine capability from well-funded hype. We built this site to break that cycle – offering the kind of blunt, research-backed guidance that vendor-sponsored content is structurally incapable of providing.

We are an independent editorial team dedicated to reviewing, comparing, and demystifying the tools that power modern digital advertising. From demand-side platforms and ad exchanges to programmatic media buying suites and campaign analytics dashboards, we cover the entire ad tech stack with the kind of candor that vendor-sponsored content cannot afford.

What we actually do

Our work boils down to something deceptively simple: we help marketing teams, media buyers, and agency professionals figure out which advertising platforms are worth their budgets and which ones are mostly worth their marketing departments’ budgets. We produce in-depth comparison guides, category roundups, and product analyses across the full spectrum of digital advertising technology.

Every piece of content on this site is built on structured research. We examine features, pricing transparency (or the conspicuous lack thereof), integration ecosystems, real-world usability, and the gap between what a platform’s landing page promises and what it actually delivers once you are three months into a contract.

Our editorial approach

We do not accept payment from software vendors in exchange for reviews or rankings. Our revenue model is transparently disclosed on our Affiliate Disclosure page, and it never influences the order, emphasis, or conclusions of our editorial content. When a product is mediocre, we say so. When a product is excellent but overpriced, we say that too. We are aware this makes us less popular at industry cocktail parties, and we have made our peace with it.
